Equal Employment Practices
In order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at ZS will be based on merit, qualifications and abilities. ZS does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
ZS will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with known disabilities unless doing so would result in an undue hardship. This policy governs all aspects of employment, including selection, job assignment, compensation, discipline, termination and access to benefits and training.
Any employees with questions or concerns about any type of discrimination in the workplace are encouraged to bring these issues to the attention of their immediate supervisor. Employees can raise concerns and make reports without fear of reprisal. Anyone found to be engaging in any type of unlawful discrimination will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Immigration Information
Applicants for North American Offices
Candidates applying for positions in our U.S. offices will be considered if they are U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents. Those with other visa status will be considered as follows:
- Students studying for U.S. advanced degrees on F-1 visas will be considered (currently studying for M.S., M.B.A, or Ph.D. degrees at U.S. institutions).
- Workers holding H1-B visas who seek a transfer of employment may be considered depending on length-of-stay restrictions. Each case is considered on an individual basis.
Candidates applying for positions in our Toronto office must be Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents.
Applicants for European Offices
Candidates applying for positions in Europe must possess E.U. work authorisation. However, non-E.U. students graduating from university degree programs in France, Germany, Italy, or the U.K. may apply for positions within those countries. Candidates from North America wishing to work in one of our European offices must start and work in a North American office for at least 12 months prior to requesting a transfer to Europe.
Applicants for Asian Offices
Candidates applying for positions in our Pune office must be Indian Citizens or Indian Permanent Residents. Candidates currently enrolled in U.S. schools might start employment in the U.S. and subsequently transfer to Pune.
Candidates applying for positions in our Tokyo office must be Japanese Citizens or Japanese Permanent Residents and must have Japanese language fluency. Candidates currently enrolled in U.S. schools might start employment in the U.S. and subsequently transfer to Tokyo.
