On the work

"The work at ZS is challenging, yet rewarding. Over the past six weeks I have learned a tremendous amount of technical knowledge, business concepts, and consulting know-how. At the same time, I have never felt overwhelmed. Everyone at ZS is uncommonly helpful, and that has allowed me to do well despite being so new and inexperienced."

On the internship

"ZS surprised me with the amount of support and training they invested in the interns. A great emphasis is placed on making sure that by the end of the summer, the interns know exactly what ZS is about and what they could expect as full-time associates. Likewise, we have had numerous social events—House of Blues, a Cubs game, and Whirlyball that give us a more informal chance to get to know other ZS'ers. There is also the chance of travel. I went to the San Francisco office for a week for project work, and one intern was even able to go to China!"

On the Evanston office

"The proximity of the Evanston office to both Northwestern University and Chicago gives college-age students the best of both worlds. While the Evanston office is certainly the largest of the ZS offices, it never felt overwhelming or anonymous to me."
