Education

ECOLE CENTRALE PARIS
M.Sc. in General Engineering, 2004

Activities at ECP: I participated in Modern Jazz Dance and the Air Balloon Club

Memories of ECP: Most of my favorite memories involve spending time with all the other students coming from abroad. Once the sun was shining in spring and in summer, we met in the Bay of Seine with a wonderful view of Notre Dame de Paris. Students from many countries were playing guitars, singing and speaking about our countries and the fun we were having in France.

ZS Career Path

Business Analyst, 2005
Associate Consultant, 2006

On the work

"I was recently staffed on a market research competitive assessment project to study the potential of a new cancer drug in five major markets and the treatment process in this type of cancer. I interviewed many physicians and analyzed the information to give the client a clear view of the potential of their new drug and the implication for them.

"I have also taken part in the organization of the Business Analyst track in Paris. A colleague and I organized a Paris Tour: BAs from across Europe discovered some of Paris's most famous monuments. They walked around the area for two hours to develop their knowledge of the city by answering a quiz on important dates in history, architectural design, and little-known facts. The tour ended with dinner in a cosy restaurant and a karaoke party."

On ZS values

Treat People Right: "What is great about ZS projects is whatever position you have, you are a part of the team. That means you contribute to the project, people listen to your ideas, people allow you to gain experience.

"In ZS, you are judged by your work and you don't compete with others to be promoted. One key ZS value is to help people you work with, to help them learn. If you are not an Access expert, for example, people will help you understand it even if they have a lot of work."

On life outside work

"I like to spend time with my friends—dinner, movies, parties. As I am in Paris, I try to take advantage of the Paris Museum(s). I am also trying to improve my Swedish. And of course, I return regularly to Belgium to visit my friends and family and to eat the most delicious chocolate in the word (Neuhaus, Galler, Marcolini) and also waffles."

On the Paris office

"The people in the Paris office are so great. It is a pleasure to work with them everyday and to see them outside work. Being in Paris provides an opportunity to visit museums, expositions, all the monuments and the clubs!"
