On the work
“Our teams have been involved in a number of very different projects over the past two years. We helped a bank restructure its sales organization, we prepared a biotech company for a new product launch, and we partnered with a medical device company to optimize the launch of a new technology. Each of these was challenging and exciting in its own distinct way, and at different times over the past 24 months, they have each been a favorite of mine. In each and every case, ZS delivered exceptional value to the client. The teams pushed the boundary on what they could accomplish. And in the process, we all learned a great deal and had fun throughout.”
On ZS values
“The ZS values really define a way of living and working with others at ZS. Therefore, it is difficult to point to one story or one experience and say, ‘This was a great example of the ZS values.’ Instead, you have to understand and learn about the ZS values by living through different experiences here and interacting with people on a daily basis.”
On life outside work
“My wife has a very busy career in oral surgery, so the time we spend together with our son and daughter is very precious to us. Our family likes to travel and experience different cultures, and we try to vacation in a new location every year. The past few years we have been to Thailand, Italy, Singapore, and India. Living in Boston is great because we are so close to so many places and so many things to do. When we have time, we run up to Maine for hiking, drive through the scenic routes in Vermont, or just relax on one of the many beaches near here.”
On the Boston office
“The Boston office is not very large, and we are basically like an extended family. Everyone here is very supportive, and we are always directly or indirectly helping each other out. It’s easy to hang out with one another and we will often grab a beer together after work or play a round of golf on the weekend. I feel everyone here in the Boston office has a strong sense of belonging.”
