Activities at Fuqua: China GATE: Traveling across China for two weeks with 20 of my classmates was a tremendous experience. Not only did we get to travel to some of China's famous cultural exhibits (e.g. Great Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors), world-class cities (e.g. Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong), but we also had the opportunity to meet with many Chinese business leaders to learn more about China's unique market dynamics.

On the work

“A contact lens manufacturer was facing increasing competitive pressure and eroding share. The client hired us to help improve their overall marketing strategy and optimize sales messaging through various market research initiatives. The project scope included a quantitative market research survey, conjoint analysis, as well as qualitative customer interviews. As a Consultant on the project my role was to manage the day-to-day activities of the project team, serve as a primary ZS contact for the client, and help guide the synthesis of our findings. Our ultimate recommendations were incorporated into the client's 2010 field marketing strategy and they have hired us for follow-on work related to our original project.”
