On the work

"A pharmaceutical company came to us with a sales force alignment project. It had been a couple of years since the last alignment and the client had gotten more accurate data for us to analyze. The interesting part of the project was that the product was in the animal health division of the company. So although the type of project was very traditional, the product we were dealing with was not, and it was a lot of fun learning all about the different kinds of cattle and the different health issues each was facing."

On ZS values

Do the Right Thing: "After submitting a major deliverable to a client, one of our analysts found a small error in the code. Instead of ignoring the mistake, the manager on the project went to the client to explain the impact of the error. Two days later, we delivered new files to the client with the corrected results. Although there was very little change to the original deliverable, it reinforced ZS values to me."

On life outside work

"I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan, and I finally got Direct TV so I can watch all the games here on the West Coast. My new son is now taking up most of my time outside work."

On the San Francisco office

"Coming from a small Midwestern town, it's exciting to live on the West Coast. There are so many fantastic things to do in the Bay Area, and San Mateo itself is a very pretty and pleasant place to work."
