On joining ZS
“My undergraduate degree is in Economics from the University of Chicago and I have a Master's in Management from Yale. I started at ZS in February of 2006.”
On life outside work
“I enjoy bicycling along the lakefront or through the forest preserve.”
On working at ZS
What is something you really like about working for ZS?
“The people here are really smart, dedicated to producing high quality software, and enormously supportive. (Plus we have really great coffee.).”
On working in Evanston
“Evanston is a great place to work and live. It's close enough to Chicago to be able to take advantage of all that the city has to offer but it still feels like you're living in a town.”
On commuting to work
“I live about a mile away from the ZS offices which means I can walk to work.”
On getting project help
“First I ask whoever I think is the person most likely to have the answer. If that person can't help, he or she will invariably point me to the person or resource that can answer my question. I have yet to encounter someone who didn't cheerfully stop whatever they were doing in order to help me with what I needed.”
On advice for candidates searching for a test development position
“If you are looking for a position where you will have a lot of responsibility, interesting problems to solve, and the ability to influence how QA is implemented, ZS is a great place to work.”
