Memories of Oxford: The tutorial system at Oxford is excellent. It taught me to think critically, as students are forced to form and then to defend their opinions. The skills I learned there have enabled me to identify a problem and develop a sense for a good solution.

On the work
“We worked on the integration strategy of two global pharmaceutical companies. This was intellectually challenging with significant new sales and marketing challenges. We were working with both HQ and on a local level, and we had to ensure that we met the global needs of the company as well as ensure that the optimal local strategy was adopted in the various countries. Working on this project made me realize that no other consulting firm has the expertise that ZS has in sales force, marketing, integration and mergers, and I firmly believe that we are the only consulting firm who could have completed this project so successfully.“
On ZS values
Treat People Right: “I already had an advanced degree when I joined ZS, but I was very interested in doing an Executive MBA. Although I didn’t need it in order to advance at ZS, it had always been an ambition of mine to obtain one. I approached the company for sponsorship and ZS said that it valued the learning and development of its staff, so they would be more than happy to sponsor me if I wanted to do it.“
On life outside work
“I love traveling, especially now that I am based in Europe. It is so easy to go to other European cities over the weekend. When I’m not away, I love spending time with my husky/labrador/shepherd-cross dog who came over to Milan from Princeton with me and my wife and daughter.”
