On the work

"I am currently on a call planning project for a major pharmaceutical client. My team creates a quarterly plan for our client's sales force, which provides information to direct their sales representative to target to the right physicians. Essentially, my project role is to administer the process to generate the call plan reports. One time our client had re-structured their sales force, and I was responsible for modifying the input data into the new and usable format in order to start the call plan process. By the time I finished writing and compiled the program that modified the input data, it was such a great feeling of achievement. It was hard work, but it felt good afterward."

On ZS values

Get It Right: "One of the most important lessons that I learned when I first started working at ZS is that we should always deliver quality work to our clients. I remember the time after our call plan reports were created, the entire team, including the project manager, would spent days to double check and triple check the reports, to make sure the correct information and format were printed. If we found just one minor mistake, we would rework the entire batch of reports immediately. Sometimes it may be repetitive, but it is all very worthwhile because our quality work directly impacts our client's business."

On life outside work

"I like to go to the gym (or at least I try to) for kickboxing, step aerobic and spinning classes. In the spring/fall, I like to go hiking in nearby parks like Bear Mountain and Cat Skill Mountain. I am also a member of the ZS volleyball team that plays against other companies in Princeton area during the summer."

On the Princeton office

"There are a lot of things to do around the Princeton area, like shopping at the nearby shopping malls and dinning in an array of restaurants in the area. You can conveniently take the train from Princeton straight to the heart of New York City, any time you want. In the summer, you can head down the Jersey shore to relax from the work week. In the winter, you can go west to the Poconos in Pennsylvania for some skiing action."
