In contrast to many consulting firms, the software development team members at ZS are first-class employees, not support. The career path for both software developers and software test developers goes all the way to the highest title at the company (Principal). As you get more experience, you will gain more responsibilities in design, project management and practice area expertise.
Everyone on the software development team has a Professional Development Manager who provides career guidance and project performance evaluations that will help identify areas for innovation and growth. We encourage everyone to take an active role in seeking professional growth opportunities.
ZS’ commitment to continuing education
ZS provides organized training, which continues as on-the-job learning. Upon joining, a New Employee Orientation provides information on basic tools, resources and key ZS practice areas. In addition, several training sessions are offered each month, ranging from broad business topics to specific technical instruction. The software team also organizes retreats and maintains an internal blog.
In addition to group training, ZS works with you to determine individual training and development needs. You may benefit from participating in an industry conference, completing a college-level course or polishing your presentation skills. Each of those opportunities can be tailored to your needs.
