EVANSTON, IL — August 27, 2009 — In an effort to expand client service and its presence in India, international management consulting firm ZS Associates recently opened an office in New Delhi. This is the company’s second office in India and its 18th across the globe.

Located in the satellite city of Gurgaon, the new office will focus on business operations projects such as incentive compensation administration, business intelligence and call planning for ZS clients from around the world. It also will meet ongoing client needs for complex sales analytics, specialized marketing research and results-driven promotion measurement.

The New Delhi office is the latest example of ZS’ impressive growth over the past 25 years. ZS Principal to Head Office

Jude Konzelmann, a ZS principal, will guide the leadership team in New Delhi as office managing principal. Konzelmann, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, joined ZS in 1996. His global assignments have included work in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Konzelmann has experience working on numerous sales and marketing issues—including sales force resource allocation, call planning and incentive compensation plan design and plan administration — for companies in the pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer nutritional products industries.

Konzelmann will be joined by Nitin Aggarwal, a new hire who will serve as the head of knowledge management at ZS Associates.  Aggarwal comes to ZS with more than 14 years of experience in management consulting and knowledge services firms and has deep expertise in using knowledge to advance organizational success. Prior to joining ZS, he served as Director of Research Services for Pipal Research and was Center Manager at the McKinsey Knowledge Center.

“Starting with a staff of about 45, including several employees from the Pune office, we expect to double in size by the end of the year,” Konzelmann said. “We will hire top candidates with exceptional analytical, quantitative and technical skills from premier schools such as the Indian Institutes of Technology in Delhi and Kharagpur and Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering).”

In addition to serving clients around the world with sales and marketing operations and analytics, ZS Associates’ New Delhi office will work on business technology development, serve as the company’s global hub for knowledge management and offer comprehensive consulting services to Indian clients in the National Capital Region and beyond.
