Javelin™ Incentive Manager streamlines the process of managing your incentive compensation programs. Formerly known as Prism™ Plan and Data Manager, the software helps you get complete control over creating and updating your IC plan—from importing and validating data to the creation of specific payouts. With Incentive Manager you can create plans from scratch or choose the Quick Start wizard to get a head start. The Quick Start wizard makes it easy to create many of the most common incentive plans like commissions, kickers, goal attainment, and payout grids. From there, you can modify the plans to incorporate your specific business rules.

You can easily experiment with different plan structures, create an unlimited number of plan scenarios, and understand how different plan structures affect the final output.

To save you more time and improve quality, Incentive Manager provides the flexibility of reusing and re-purposing plans and plan components. For example, you can:

  • design one plan structure and reuse it for different payees, levels, products, and teams
  • design multiple plan structures and combine them into a customized plan
  • reorder and restructure plan components with ease

Update plans on-the-fly

Besides simplifying plan creation, Incentive Manager makes it easy to update your plans without jeopardizing the work you have already completed. This means you can start implementing your plans early and feel confident that you can make updates as new information becomes available. Furthermore, you can quickly respond to market changes during any point in the process and adjust plan structures accordingly.

Work with confidence, with a historical archive and audit history

Incentive Manager creates a record of changes to the compensation system, from plan configuration changes to data adjustments. This type of record keeping may be useful for your company's internal controls and compliance concerns.

And Incentive Manager archives are remarkably complete. Months or even years later, the software can replicate its payout calculations. You can even create new scenarios based on archived scenarios to explore the effects of data changes.

Increase processing quality with built-in validations, sign-offs, and error investigation tools

Incentive Manager comes standard with dozens of validations to help check the accuracy of your data. A central validations panel shows the status of all of the validations and integrity checks in the system, so it’s easy to see whether there are any issues that need your attention.

When it’s time to issue payouts, Incentive Manager walks you through each validation concern, to help ensure that someone signs-off on it before the software issues payouts. You also have a permanent record of all the data investigations and sign-offs that were in place that lead to that set of payouts.
